About RVW RVW is a leader in Telecommunications
Engineering, Electric Power Engineering, Architectural Services, and Telecommunications
Billing. Our corporate headquarters are in Columbus, Nebraska, and we have more than 95
employees who serve clients throughout the country. We have been in business since 1937,

At RVW, teamwork is the key to successful, cost effective, and on-time project completion. Robert J. Tupper, President and Chief Telecommunications EngineerBob started with RVW in 1971 and acquired an in-depth understanding of the business from his work in a variety of company jobs from inspector/staker to traffic analysis to central office equipment engineer. He now serves as Chief Telecommunications Engineer and President. As Chief Telecommunications Engineer, Bob leads a 60+ person engineering team, and directs RVWs telephone and cable television engineering activities. As President, his knowledge and experience have helped develop the corporate philosophy and goals that have contributed to the continued success of the company. Bob strongly believes that teamwork is the key to quality service. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in several states. Ron Luth, Chief Electrical EngineerWith a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and over 37 years of experience with public power systems, Rons engineering experience includes an extensive background in power system planning, analysis, design, and operation. Ron's experience includes working as a Substation Design Engineer for an Electrical Transmission Utility and for the last 25 years as a consulting engineer for Rural Electric Utilities and municipalities. He is responsible for project design, coordination, and compliance with industry standards and codes to meet the needs of the client. He is a registered Professional Engineer in several States. Sharon Augustin, Manager, Telecommunications Billing and Information Services (TBIS)As TBIS Manager, Sharons goal is to listen to her clients and design what they need customized billing systems that are easy to manage, provide accurate and useful information, and are easily modified to meet the most current industry-wide procedural changes. This ability to listen and understand her clients needs, coupled with her attention to detail and expertise in the technical aspects of the telecommunications industry, has resulted in the dynamic growth of the department. Sharon joined RVW in 1982 and holds Bachelors degrees in both Computer Science and Business Administration. Larry J. Mares, Chief ArchitectAn experienced architect, Larry has been with RVW since he was hired as an intern in
1976, focusing on drafting, specifications, design, and field data. In 1986, he was
promoted to Chief Architect and now takes responsibility for the successful completion of
all of RVWs architectural projects. Larry has been instrumental in the planning and
design of a wide variety of projects, from commercial buildings to educational facilities.
He draws upon RVWs expertise in telecommunications to design functional, efficient
structures, designed specifically for the industry. Larry earned a Bachelors degree
in Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is a Registered Architect. |
